    IVANO BATTISTON, studied with Salvatore di Gesualdo, he obtained Diploma with honours in the Conservatorio di Castelfranco Veneto. In 1978 he wins XXVIII Trophée Mondial de l‘Accordeon. Later he will get his diplomas in conducting, basson and composition with Bruno Coltro.

His career as soloist has taken him to work with many institutions in Italy (Amici della Musica di Firenze, Padova e Vicenza, Nuove Sincronie e Serate Musicali di Milano, Nuovi Spazi Musicali di Roma, Società del Quartetto di Vercelli, G.O.G. di Genova, Unione Musicale di Torino, Campus Internazionale di Musica di Latina, Biennale Musica di Venezia, Aterforum Festival Ferrara, Accademia Chigiana di Siena, Bologna festival, etc.) and abroad (France, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, Finland, Holland, U.S.A. and Brazil).

He also has played with Moscow Soloist, Radio of Ljubljana Orchestra, R.A.I. Symphony Orchestra of Turin, Italian Chamber Orchestra, Belluno Chamber Orchestra, "Arturo Toscanini" Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Opera de Lyon and Accademia Nazionale di S. Cecilia di Roma, Chamber Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto, Orchestra Giovanile Italiana and l’Ensemble Musica / Realtà di Reggio Emilia. And musicians like David Bellugi, Mario Brunello, Enzo Caroli, Daniela De Santis, Pamela Hebert, Vinko Globokar, Luca Provenzani, Andrea Trovato, etc.

He is professor of Accordion at the "Cherubini" Conservatory of Music in Florence and gives masterclasses in Italy, U.K., U.S.A., Finland
