NEXEduet is the result of the union of two youngsters passionate about music and everything that happens around the amazing world of the marimba. Both already enjoy a remarkable international performance which let them share and exchange knowledge and experiences, since their careers have been developed in different fields within music.

NEXEduet’s repertoire belongs to the most diverse music, ranging from traditional to avant-garde music, from transcriptions of music from XVII century to pieces written specially for them by contemporary composers. Furthermore, they are directly related to international renowned composers like: José Manuel López López, Voro García, Enrique Sanz Burguete, Jesús Torres, etc., with whom they share knowledge and develop the repertoire.

It’s also remarcable the “NEXEduet International Marimba Academy”, which takes place annually and has had the pleasure to enjoy the presence of international reknown percussionists and the NEXEduet permanent academy where young high level students can develop themselves as performers and receive deeper knowledge. as teachers. They are also organizers of 1st “NEXEduet Composition Contest” wich has the artistic suport of a jury internationaly well respected. The winner of this edition was Adrián Borredà and he will have the possibility to see his piece ("Cantos") registered in first NEXEduet CD.

NEXEduet plays with their own serie that “ELITEmallets” made for them and with Marimbaone marimbas, and they are artists of NPdrums and REMO-Spain, all of them support NEXEduet with their contribution.
