    was born in Paris in 1974 and gave his first solo performance aged nine in Sion, Switzerland. Two years later he was invited to play for Zino Francescatti. His teachers have included Miriam Solovieff, Itzhak Rashkovsky at the Royal College of Music, and Ruggiero Ricci.

The recipient of many prizes and awards, he has performed extensively throughout the U.K., as well as in France, Germany, Spain, South Africa, Israel and the U.S.A. In 1993, he gave his U.K. solo debut playing Bartok’s First Concerto in Canterbury Cathedral, as part of the Festival. Other festivals he has performed and taught in include the Dartington International Summer School, Guildford International Festival, Warwick & Leamington Spa Festival, Pro Corda, amongst others, often with his London Archduke Piano Trio.

He has performed many recitals and concertos by Sibelius, Brahms, Tchaikovsky, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Bruch, Dvorak, Mozart, Berg and Shostakovich, in many of London’s main venues (Barbican Centre, South Bank Centre, St. John’s Smith Square, Fairfield Halls, Conway Hall, Blackheath Halls, Duke’s Hall).

In 2004 he was appointed as Senior Violin Teacher at the Birmingham Conservatoire and he also teaches at the Purcell School of Music.

Together with pianist Charles Wiffen, he has brought out a recital CD of French music entitled “Beau Soir”. He is also a regular contributor to The Strad magazine.

In 2006-7, he has been invited to give concerto, recital and radio broadcast performances, and to give masterclasses, in Israel, Romania and Italy, as well as in the U.K.
