OBJECTIVES
The aim of the Course is to give the opportunity to students of music to widen and improve their practical and theoretical skills through participating in a specific, intensive programme of work consisting of classes for individuals and for groups. The course is intended for students from the last intermediate level course, for those from any course of the higher level, post graduate students and music school students.

PLAN OF STUDIES
Individual classes in technique and musical interpretation: All students will receive from their professors a minimum of four lessons lasting 40 minutes each, during which they will develop their instrumental technique and work on two or three works of their own choice. Classes will be given in the morning starting at 9.30. The maximum of students for each professor shall be 10.
Chamber Music classes: all the students that choose this option in the enrolment form will be part of chamber Music Groups, under the direction of one of the professors of the course.
The students may suggest working on particular pieces of chamber music, which must be specified in the enrolment form in order of preference. (we advice of bringing your own parts).
When, in the professor’s judgement, the group has prepared it’s chosen work sufficiently, it will be performed at a public concert.
The classes will be held in the evening, from 18.00 to 19.30.
PERIOD, ENROLMENT AND COURSE FEES
The course will begin on 13th August and will end on the 22th August with the students’ concert. The day of arrival, reporting to the office and being given accommodation is 12 August, and the day of departure is the 23th August in the morning
The application and 30% of the accommodation fee (in case you choose this option) has to be transfered at the time of application, the tuition and rest of accommodation fee not later than August 5TH.

POINTS OF INTEREST
Students applying as part of a chamber music group only pay one inscription fee regardless of the number of musicians.
All students are advised to bring music stands as well as the scores for works they wish to work upon individually (piano parts included). Also they will be in charge of carrying their own insurance.
