Maria Angel Garcia has performed to critical acclaim in numerous concerts and solo recitals in Spain, Portugal, England, Germany, Austria and United States. She has won first prizes and has been semi- finalist in well renowned national and international piano competitions such as: John Longmire (England), Arras ( France),Ferrol international Competition (Spain), TCM Chopin (England), Ciutat de Carlet and Marisa Montiel (Spain), D´Eivissa( Ibiza), Infanta Cristina (Madrid), Cervantes and Panama (Central America).

Apart from her everyday intense activity as an accompanist in Bath where she lives, she is also regularly invited to national and international music festivals and competitions as an accompanist.

Maria has worked at Bath Spa University between 2008 and 2022 where she held the position as a senior lecturer in piano and performance and has also been the director of the MA music programme. She now works as a freelance performer and accompanist.
